About It’s Fun To Be A Girl

It’s Fun To Be A Girl is a unique and dynamic program for women ages 21 to 35, leading participants through action-packed weekend workshops that cover all aspects of female life, from fashion to fertility to nutrition.  During an IFTBAG workshop, women delve into the love letter from God transmitted through Sacred Scripture, as well as the amazing “new feminism” of Pope John Paul II, and the writings of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross.  It’s Fun To Be A Girl workshops offer real life tips, with makeup tutorials, personalized hormone consults, exercise lessons, and so much more.

It’s Fun To Be A Girl is an apostolate of Feminine Genius Inc., a non-profit dedicated to reclaiming feminism for Jesus Christ and operates under the patronage of Blessed Pope John Paul II, Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, Saint Catherine of Siena, and Our Lady of Fairest Love.   Dedicated to evangelizing “average Jane” Catholics, this exciting program seeks to form women in the truth about who God has made them to be, in order to fill them with joy at their beauty and empower them to evangelize the culture through their radiance.  We offer each of our efforts for the promotion of the new evangelization and the glory of God and firmly state our fidelity to the Holy Father.  Praised be Jesus Christ!

It’s Fun To Be A Girl workshops are offered by Katie Rose and Kendra Bartlett.  Kendra speaks the mysterious language of teenagers and would love to speak at your next youth conference or high school retreat.  Katie never learned to speak “teenager”, even when she was an adolescent herself, and is ready to speak at your next young adult retreat.  Katie and Kendra and eager to join your upcoming event and share the good news of the Catholic feminism for the glory of God.

About Katie Rose

Katie Rose is, well, a little nerdy.  She likes to make cheese and to wear vintage dresses.  She keeps bees.  She got her nose pierced in India and prefers tea to wine.  Katie earned her undergraduate BA in Theology from the University of Notre Dame and worked as a pro-life lobbyist, before she became a full-time mother.  She serves as the director of Its Fun To Be A Girl, a parish-based ministry that offers weekend workshops to young women. Katie lives with her family on a farm outside Austin, TX.   Katie is not a details girl, so please pardon her if she forgets your name, and while she happily thinks about solving the world’s problems, she forgets to put gas in the car.  And, she really really really wants you to find your deepest happiness in Jesus.  Glory to God!
